In response to the letters that WLG have delivered to residents in Rydens Way stating that they intend to commence building works on Section 5, RWAG have sought expert legal advice.
The advice that we have been given has raised questions regarding the legality of what is being done, specifically in relation to planning law.
These concerns have been raised today in the strongest possible terms with both Thamesway Ltd, and Woking BC's planning department, and we await their responses with interest.
We are also aware that many residents have written to Woking BC's planning department, raising issues of safety around this cramped attempt to haphazardly develop part of what the original planning consent covered.
There is also great concern as to why there is this rush to build on Section 5 as quickly as possible. Perhaps those in the know would like to enlighten us?
